What is the Free Access plan?
The Free Access plan is an in-vehicle subscription plan that gives you access to dozens of ad-supported channels for free.
How is this plan different from SiriusXM’s other subscription plans?
Unlike SiriusXM’s other subscription plans, the Free Access plan has no subscription fees, and contains ads on both music and talk channels. It is only available in eligible vehicles with specific radio capabilities (as determined by SiriusXM), and does not include listening on the SiriusXM mobile app. Unlike most other SiriusXM subscriptions, this plan cannot be transferred or ported to another vehicle.
Is the Free Access plan truly free?
Yes, it is. Even though you will be a SiriusXM subscriber, you won’t need to pay us anything for this service. No credit card information or other payment methods will be collected for this subscription.

How do I subscribe to the Free Access plan?
If you own an eligible vehicle, you will be able to subscribe to the plan by selecting "Subscribe & Listen" from your Free Access welcome screen in your SiriusXM dashboard. No credit card information will be required to subscribe. Just make sure you listen at least once every 60 days to keep the plan active!
How do I get Free Access on the SiriusXM mobile app?
At this time, Free Access is not available on the SiriusXM mobile app. Programming can only be accessed through your vehicle’s radio.
I do not see the Free Access Welcome Screen. How can I subscribe to Free Access?
Free Access is only available in select vehicles. If your vehicle is eligible, you will see a Free Access plan subscription screen within your SiriusXM experience in the vehicle. You will also be notified of your eligibility by email or in-vehicle messaging, and given instructions on how to subscribe to the plan.
Can I upgrade from Free Access to another plan?
Yes, you can. There are two methods by which you can upgrade your service to a plan without ads. You can manage your account from the Online Account Center, or you can call a Customer Care representative at 855-219-3870 for direct support.
Can I transfer my Free Access plan to another vehicle?
At this time, Free Access cannot be transferred to other vehicles you own or lease.
Can I cancel my Free Access Plan?
Yes, you may cancel the free service by using our online Chat feature or by calling us at 866-635-2349.
I previously canceled my paid subscription. Can I get the Free Access plan?
If your vehicle is eligible, you will see a Free Access plan subscription screen within your SiriusXM experience in the vehicle. You will also be notified by email or in-vehicle messaging of your eligibility and given instructions on how to subscribe to the plan. At this time, our agents are unable to activate radios with this plan upon request.
Can I get the Free Access plan in my other vehicle(s)?
At this time, Free Access is only available in select eligible vehicles.

OFFER DETAILS: The Free Access Plan is our ad-supported subscription plan with no monthly subscription charge for in-vehicle use. It is currently available by invitation-only in vehicles with certain SiriusXM with 360L capable radios. You must subscribe to the Free Access Plan within your vehicle, and it will continue until you or we cancel the service, your vehicle is transferred or sold, or you purchase a paid plan. You must use the service at least once every sixty days or the radio will be deactivated and the plan canceled. The plan will not be reinstated if canceled, deactivated or if a plan change is requested. The plan cannot be transferred or ported to another radio. Service is subject to SiriusXM’s Customer Agreement and Privacy Policy available at siriusxm.com. You may cancel your service through online methods or calling us at 1-866-635-2349.
