How hard is it to get into a sorority at Clemson? ›

It's very competitive. Clemson has a terrible bid percentage at 73.4%. Whereas schools such as Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina have about a 98% bid rate.

Of the 22,698 enrolled undergraduate students, 18% of males are involved in fraternities while 32% of females are involved in sororities Affiliated men and women have shown to have a higher GPR than nonaffiliated men and women.

If you choose to accept a bid to a sorority, your first semester dues as a new member will range between $500 and $1,400 depending on the chapter. Once you are an initiated member, the price of dues decrease for your remaining semesters.

The Panhellenic required GPA should be listed on your college's Panhellenic website. Most Panhellenic minimum GPAs are around 2.5 to 3.0. However, many times, each sorority's minimum GPA is higher than the GPA on the website.

Guidelines for Delta Alpha Pi honor society participation:

Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 24 credits and earn an overall GPA of 3.10/4.00 at Clemson University over a period of at least two semesters.

A student must have a cumulative 2.7 GPA to register for IFC rush or apply for NPHC or MGC membership intake. Grades will be verified by Clemson University staff. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
